IWS Albania International Watercolor Festival


National Historical Museum of Albania
IWS Albania, under the auspices of the Albanian Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with the Klik Ekspo Group (leader of the exhibition and trade fare industry in Albania), proudly invites all to their 1st International Watercolor Festival to be held in Tirana, Albania. The festival will run from November 21 - 25, 2015. 


Palace of Congress, Tirana, Albania
There will be organized workshops, parallel exhibitions at the National Historical Museum in Tirana and a unique exhibition at the International Trade Fair at the Palace of Congress in Tirana. 

The exhibition will be open for 5 days and will feature artworks of 50 local and international artists.  For five days, all the works of the selected artists will be exposed to a large public of almost 30,000 visitors.

The Open Call for Entries ended last July 31, 2015.  The commission in charge to select the artworks for the exhibition has started the selection process and will proclaim the final list on August 10 . The commission is composed of outstanding Albanian art personalities.  The selection process was attended by art journalist and followed by the press.
